Definition: A kind of adverb which is used to express how often something happens.

1: Group A: This kind of adverb comes before other main verb, but after the verb “To Be”:

I often play tennis.
She always respects her parents.
They usually go to school early.
We rarely meet him.
John never smiles.
You seldom play football.

NB: But “usually and sometimes” can come at the beginning or at the end of the sentence.
Sometimes she plays cards.
Or she plays cards sometimes.
Usually she plays tennis.
Or she plays tennis usually.
NB: The words “always and never” usually do not come at the beginning of the sentence, but in an imperative sentence, it can be used.
For example:
Always respect your parents.
Always obey the traffic rules.
Never walk on the grass.
Never say rude words to your parents.
